If I were King of the World

Explanation:
I choose to be KING of the world for a couple good reasons. First of all, somehow kings get more respect than queens, compare KING Kong and the Queen in Cinderella, for an example; AND they get to wear jewel-encrusted gold crowns and not just sparkly tiaras. Headbands never stay on me. They slide off. I must have an oddly shaped head. And tiaras look kinda gatzy don't you think?

Secondly, Freddie Mercury already has the title of greatest Queen in the world. I wish he were still around to enjoy it.
So much for bicycle riding being good for you, huh?

The following would be some of my decrees: Remember i am a benevolent despot:

8. All parents would be required to spend as much time reading, doing school work or teaching their child a life skill as they do on teaching a child to hit, throw, kick or catch a ball.

7. All Beaches in NJ would be free for all people.

6. Only people who drive at or above the speed limit would be allowed in the left lane. There used to be a law about this called" failure to yield", but they don't seem to enforce it anymore. The old white man who thinks he is in charge of speed limit pacing, or the old woman who can't see would HAVE to move to the right lane, or have their license revoked.

5. Red Velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting would be placed on the food pyramid.

4. Doctors would all be required to make house calls for anyone over 75 or are on disability. My 93 year old mom is difficult to move from place to place these days. Only her foot doctor comes to the house to care for he. He is a godsend!

3. Free speech would not include hate speech. If you are a hater, you should be fined for any and all public comments that you make against someone else. I, of course, would be the one to decide who and what to fine :). BTW: Sarcasm would NOT be considered hate speech.

2. I would make super bowl Monday a national holiday. Imagine if Barack did this? His approval rating would jump through the roof.

1. I would put all sports and physical education classes in the morning of the school day and all subjects in the afternoon. It is well known that physical activity before learning conditions the brain. Thus, learning levels are increased. A second bonus to this is that it would allow all kids to be involved in physical activity, which is so sorely needed by the majority of students in this country. A third bonus is that I could sleep until 6:30 rather than getting up at the butt-crack of dawn.
